Cheetah Records started small but saw early success due to their artist DJ Magic Mike and his involvement in the Miami Bass Movement. Cheetah Distribution Group was the largest independently distributed label in America in its time. Magic Mike left Cheetah in 1995 and CDG was acquired by Warlock Records in 1996.
